Ragdolls UK: A charity that means business!

Established back in 2013, Ragdolls had but one vision; to advance the treatments, support and information available to children suffering from genetic disorders and their families.

The years following our original establishment have saw our dedicated team working with the families and scientists. The bright green bands worn by Ragdolls members have become synonymous with love and support.

With the help of our partners at Genetic Alliance we have been able to aid the future of medical research. We have also had the privilege of being able to communicate this information to families around the UK.  Talking with Professors at Glasgow University and Edinburgh’s Queen’s Research Institute one thing becomes clear, there are high hopes for where their research can go next.

Continuing our charitable pursuits does present its challenges. None of the hope we have managed to bring would be possible without the support of the public. Your donations, memberships and general well wishes are greatly appreciated by the entire team. As the end of another year draws to a close I would like to extend my personal gratitude to all of the Ragdolls team for their hard work and those who have helped us continue in our aims.

So what is in store for Ragdolls in the future? Well, our aim is to now take our work in the UK and bring it to other countries across the world. To do this we need the continued support of our members. Together we can bring hope to many more families and make the future a very shining lime green 🙂

Kindest Regards
